We are excited to present a special workshop led by Ms. Lauren Smith - internationally acclaimed choreographer, performer, and founder of the Lauren Blair Smith Dance Company in Singapore.
With the theme “Art-Tech Feature”, this workshop will explore the exciting question: How can art and technology come together to create something amazing?
👋 Meet Lauren Smith:
Lauren is an American-born artist who grew up in Singapore. She holds a BFA from UNCSA and is pursuing her Master’s at the University of Michigan, where she also helped direct and choreograph the U-M First Year Dance Company. A William R. Kenan Fellow at Lincoln Center Education and founder of the sold-out Singapore Dance Intensive, Lauren has performed in over 400 shows across 100+ cities on the Broadway National Tour of Fiddler on the Roof.
Her choreography spans from young children to professionals and has been showcased internationally, receiving accolades in the U.S., Singapore, Taiwan, Portugal, and more. She has collaborated with Google, Panasonic, TEDx Procter & Gamble, Marina Bay Sands, and others. A certified Pilates and HIIT instructor, she has also led wellness programs at top venues. Lauren was also the youngest and top-ranking female on the hit TV dance competition Dance Singapore Dance.
