On July 1, Women Tech Entrepreneurs in collaboration with Women in Tech®Vietnam and AI Leaders Vietnam - the first AI Agency in Vietnam , successfully hosted the Meet-up with the theme: "Human + AI Agents Collaboration: How Organizations Can Build AI-Ready Teams and Operations."

The meet-up brought together business leaders, technology experts, and AI enthusiasts to discuss one of today's most pressing questions:

In the era of Agentic AI, how can organizations prepare for AI to become not just another tool, but a trusted digital teammate working alongside people?

From AI Users to AI Leaders

The event opened with an inspiring keynote by Ms. Le Uyen Thao , Founder of AI Leaders Vietnam.

Her central message was clear:

The competitive advantage of tomorrow will not come from simply adopting AI, but from knowing how to lead people and AI to work together within the same organization.

Rather than focusing solely on tools such as ChatGPT or other Generative AI applications, organizations need to evolve from being AI Users to becoming AI Leaders - leaders who can design workflows, establish governance frameworks, and create an environment where humans and AI collaborate effectively.

One of the most memorable insights from the keynote was:

An AI Agent is not the same as an AI chatbot.

Unlike chatbots, AI Agents can plan, coordinate multiple tasks, and execute business workflows autonomously. As AI capabilities continue to evolve, the way organizations govern and manage AI must evolve as well.

AI Governance Is Becoming a Business Imperative

One of the highlights of the keynote was the introduction of the Three Pillars of an AI Leader:

• AI Governance

• Risk Management

• Trust

These three pillars form the foundation for sustainable Human × AI collaboration.

Rather than restricting employees from using AI, organizations should establish clear policies, governance frameworks, and responsible AI practices to ensure AI is adopted safely, transparently, and ethically.

The keynote also highlighted several eye-opening industry statistics showing that Shadow AI, data leakage, and unverified AI-generated outputs have become common risks across organizations worldwide. These challenges reinforce an important reality:

AI Governance is no longer optional - it is becoming an essential organizational capability in the age of AI Agents.

"Treat AI Like a New Hire"

Just like any new employee, AI should be assigned appropriate responsibilities, operate within clearly defined boundaries, be monitored and evaluated regularly, and never be given authority to make critical decisions without meaningful human oversight.

Participants were also introduced to a practical 90-day AI adoption roadmap, beginning with assessing current AI usage, establishing an AI Usage Policy, classifying AI use cases based on risk levels, and gradually deploying AI initiatives under leadership supervision.

Panel Discussion: AI Is Not a Technology Challenge - It's a Leadership Challenge

The panel discussion featured insightful perspectives from: Manh (Amin) Trinh , APAC IDU Manager of GFT Technologies, Alex Ivan, Engineering Manager of Mantu, Le Uyen Thao Founder of AI Leaders Vietnam.

The session was expertly moderated by Annie Dang, Employer Branding Manager at GFT Technologies and Community Manager of Women in Tech® Vietnam.

Despite coming from different industries and backgrounds, the panelists shared a common perspective:

The biggest obstacle to successful AI adoption is not technologyit - is people, leadership, and organizational readiness.

Some of the key discussion points included:

• Many organizations struggle to move beyond using AI as a personal productivity tool and integrate it into enterprise-wide business operations.

• AI delivers the greatest value only when business processes are standardized, documented, and well-designed.

• Organizations should begin with high-value, repetitive, low-risk business processes rather than attempting to automate their most complex workflows immediately.

• As AI increasingly handles repetitive tasks, reporting, and coordination, human roles will naturally shift toward strategic thinking, decision-making, creativity, and relationship building.

• Women and business leaders should be actively involved in shaping how AI is designed and implemented within organizations, ensuring that AI empowers people rather than simply digitizing invisible work.

The panel also sparked lively audience participation, with discussions centered around AI governance, building AI-ready organizational cultures, leadership capabilities, and preparing the workforce for the age of AI Agents

Closing Remarks

To conclude the event, Quyen Nguyen - Country Director of Women in Tech®Vietnam and Chairwoman of Women Tech Entrepreneurs , shared her insights into the current state of AI adoption across businesses.

She emphasized that while AI presents tremendous opportunities to improve productivity, optimize operations, and accelerate innovation, many organizations still face significant challenges in implementation. These include the absence of a clear AI strategy, limitations in data and digital infrastructure, talent shortages, governance concerns, cybersecurity risks, and organizational readiness. AI transformation does not begin with selecting the right tools. It begins with leadership, organizational culture, and the ability to create meaningful collaboration between humans and AI.

Most importantly, women cannot afford to be left behind in this transformation.

AI is reshaping the way we learn, work, and lead. It presents an unprecedented opportunity for women not only to strengthen their technical capabilities but also to actively shape AI products, policies, and strategies that are ethical, inclusive, and human-centered.

The event also marked the official introduction of the Vietnam Women Tech Award (https://vietnamwomentechaward.vn/), an annual initiative by Women Tech Entrepreneurs dedicated to recognizing outstanding women leaders, entrepreneurs, and individuals who are driving innovation and creating meaningful impact through technology.

Through this award, Women Tech Entrepreneurs hopes to inspire more women to embrace emerging technologies - especially AI - develop leadership capabilities, and play an active role in shaping Vietnam's digital future.

Từ AI Users đến AI Leaders

Mở đầu chương trình, keynote của chị Le Uyen Thao Founder, AI Leaders Vietnam đã mang đến một góc nhìn rất khác về AI.

Thông điệp xuyên suốt của bài chia sẻ là:

Lợi thế cạnh tranh của doanh nghiệp không còn nằm ở việc "có AI", mà nằm ở khả năng lãnh đạo con người và AI cùng làm việc trong một hệ thống.

Thay vì chỉ tập trung vào việc sử dụng ChatGPT hay các công cụ Generative AI, doanh nghiệp cần chuyển dịch từ tư duy AI Users sang AI Leaders – những người biết thiết kế quy trình, xây dựng cơ chế quản trị và tạo ra môi trường để Human × AI cộng tác hiệu quả.

Một điểm đặc biệt được nhấn mạnh là:

AI Agent không phải AI Chatbot. AI Agents có khả năng lập kế hoạch, phối hợp nhiều tác vụ và thực hiện quy trình công việc, vì vậy cách quản trị AI cũng phải thay đổi.

AI Governance sẽ trở thành năng lực bắt buộc của doanh nghiệp

Một trong những nội dung nhận được nhiều sự quan tâm là mô hình 3 Pillars of an AI Leader, gồm:

Đây được xem là nền tảng để xây dựng sự hợp tác bền vững giữa con người và AI. Thay vì cấm nhân viên sử dụng AI, doanh nghiệp cần xây dựng chính sách, quy trình và nguyên tắc rõ ràng để AI được sử dụng một cách an toàn, minh bạch và có trách nhiệm.

Những số liệu được chia sẻ trong chương trình cũng cho thấy một thực tế đáng chú ý: việc nhân viên tự ý sử dụng AI (Shadow AI), rò rỉ dữ liệu hay sử dụng kết quả AI mà không kiểm chứng đang trở thành rủi ro phổ biến tại nhiều doanh nghiệp. Điều này khiến AI Governance không còn là lựa chọn, mà là yêu cầu bắt buộc đối với các tổ chức trong thời đại AI Agents.

"Treat AI Like a New Hire"

Một trong những thông điệp được nhiều khách mời ghi nhớ nhất là:

Hãy đối xử với AI như một nhân viên mới.

Giống như một nhân viên mới, AI cần được giao đúng quyền hạn, có phạm vi công việc rõ ràng, được giám sát, đánh giá và không thể tự đưa ra những quyết định quan trọng nếu thiếu sự kiểm soát của con người.

Các doanh nghiệp cũng được giới thiệu một lộ trình triển khai AI trong 90 ngày, bắt đầu từ việc đánh giá hiện trạng, xây dựng AI Usage Policy, phân loại mức độ rủi ro của các use case và triển khai từng bước dưới sự giám sát của đội ngũ lãnh đạo.

• Doanh nghiệp thường mắc kẹt ở giai đoạn chuyển từ việc dùng AI như công cụ cá nhân sang tích hợp AI vào quy trình vận hành.

• AI chỉ phát huy hiệu quả khi quy trình làm việc đã được chuẩn hóa và tài liệu hóa.

• Triển khai AI không nên bắt đầu từ những bài toán phức tạp nhất, mà nên lựa chọn các quy trình lặp lại, có giá trị cao và rủi ro thấp để tạo niềm tin cho tổ chức.

• Khi AI đảm nhận nhiều công việc điều phối, báo cáo và tác vụ lặp lại, vai trò của con người sẽ chuyển dịch mạnh hơn sang tư duy chiến lược, ra quyết định, sáng tạo và xây dựng mối quan hệ.

• Phụ nữ và các nhà lãnh đạo cần tham gia ngay từ đầu vào quá trình thiết kế cách AI được triển khai trong tổ chức để bảo đảm AI thực sự tạo ra giá trị cho con người, thay vì chỉ chuyển đổi hình thức của những "công việc vô hình".

Đây cũng là phần mang đến nhiều câu hỏi tương tác nhất từ khán giả, với các chủ đề xoay quanh quản trị AI, xây dựng văn hóa AI-Ready và chuẩn bị kỹ năng lãnh đạo trong bối cảnh AI Agents ngày càng phát triển.

Chị nhấn mạnh rằng, mặc dù AI đang mở ra nhiều cơ hội để nâng cao năng suất, tối ưu vận hành và thúc đẩy đổi mới sáng tạo, nhưng phần lớn doanh nghiệp vẫn đang đối mặt với không ít thách thức trong quá trình triển khai, từ việc thiếu chiến lược và lộ trình rõ ràng, hạn chế về dữ liệu, hạ tầng và nguồn nhân lực, đến những vấn đề về quản trị, bảo mật và sự sẵn sàng trong văn hóa tổ chức. Hành trình chuyển đổi AI không bắt đầu từ việc lựa chọn công cụ, mà bắt đầu từ tư duy lãnh đạo, văn hóa tổ chức và khả năng để Human × AI cùng tạo ra giá trị.

Và đặc biệt, phụ nữ không thể đứng ngoài làn sóng chuyển đổi này. AI đang định hình lại cách chúng ta học tập, làm việc và lãnh đạo. Đây không chỉ là cơ hội để phụ nữ nâng cao năng lực chuyên môn, mà còn là thời điểm để tự tin tham gia vào việc kiến tạo các sản phẩm, chính sách và chiến lược AI theo hướng nhân văn, toàn diện và bền vững.
