[Latest News] Hanoi aims for 100% of government agencies to adopt AI

Hanoi is targeting that by 2030, all government agencies across the city will apply artificial intelligence (AI) in their management and operations. This initiative is part of the city’s comprehensive digital transformation strategy, aimed at enhancing governance efficiency, improving public service quality, and better serving citizens.

The city plans to deploy AI across multiple sectors, including public administration, healthcare, education, transportation, and smart urban development. AI systems are expected to support data processing, automate workflows, and enable faster, more accurate forecasting and decision-making.

In addition, Hanoi is focusing on developing digital infrastructure, open data, and workforce training to meet the demands of large-scale AI implementation. Collaboration with technology companies and research institutions is also being strengthened to drive innovation.

This goal is expected to position Hanoi as one of the leading cities in AI adoption in Vietnam, contributing to the development of a modern digital government and digital economy.
